  AdAstrA has completed development of the new TRACE MODE SCADA driver for CVM series Circutor power analyzers.
Circutor power analyzer combines sensor and secondary device functions in one product designed for measuring, calculating and displaying basic parameters of alternative current and two- or three-phase circuits for industrial and utility use (symmetric and asymmetric).
The new driver supports specific Modbus protocol features for CVM series power analyzers, which means that a control system developer does not have to additionally convert two 16-bit cells read by the fourth function of Modbus RTU protocol into a 32-bit value of parameter measured.
As a result, the new driver requires twice as less I/O points in the SCADA HMI TRACE MODE project and eliminates program conversion . The driver also supports group queries.

Currently, SCADA HMI TRACE MODE is supplied with free drivers for over 2268 industrial controllers, electric meters and I/O cards. |

On 24 April, 2006 AdAstrA Research Group has opened the Beijing Representative office. The office will focus on technical support for Chinese users of TRACE MODE SCADA software and will co-ordinate building of the Chinese national network of system integrators and dealers. AdAstrA Research Group, Ltd made available an external driver for Micro TRACE MODE 6 industrial controller programming system. This driver is designed to connect WinCon 8000 controller to sensors and flowmeters using a popular HART protocol. 
Like any software each TRACE MODE version has its life cycle and, after passing it, each version becomes “old”. TRACE MODE 5 is an old version. Its development was stopped in 2004.
In the SCADA TRACE MODE 6.04 the support of Mitsubishi controllers using FX Computer Link and DeviceNet protocols was improved. The new driver is now integrated in the TRACE MODE 6.04 development system.
The Micro TRACE MODE 6 is installed onto industrial controllers and provides data acquisition and digital process control with adaptive PI, PID and PDD loops selftuning.
