Micro TRACE MODE 6 for developer (DOS) is a set of SOFTLOGIC runtimes for use in industrial controllers operating under DOS, containing no ready-to-use I/O drivers.

The product includes a set of SOFTLOGIC Micro RTM 6 (Micro Real time Monitors) runtimes for installation into PC-based industrial controllers of different types. The following runtimes are available in the product:

with TCP/IP support;
with co-processor support;
with support of high memory XMS/EMM.

Micro TRACE MODE 6 is programmed in the integrated development environment in 5 IEC 6-1131/3 programming languages.

The Micro RTM 6 supports standard protocols for exchange via serial interfaces:

ModBus RTU (Master);
DCS (Master),

which allows to use the given product with the whole range of popular controller families, e.g.:

ADAM 4000;
ADAM 5000;
ICP/DAS i7000;
NuDam;
Silian SCM.

The support of the standard DCS protocol makes it possible to use different type controllers and I/O modules jointly in one project. And the ModBus RTU support allows to connect a wide range of intelligent sensors, drives and other industrial devices to controller directly.

In addition any non-standard device can be connected to the industrial controller under Micro RTM 6 with the user driver.

The user driver for exchange via serial port can be developed using Тechnо ST language directly in the TRACE MODE development system, or otherwise in the ‘С’ language with any compiler under MS DOS (including MS Visual C++). The appropriate directions are given in the documentation for the development system (see the section "Drivers Development" -> "Drivers of exchange with I/O devices for MS DOS").

The user’s driver for exchange with the I/O cards via any non-standard buses can be written in ‘С’ language only (as a resident program).

Communication with other TRACE MODE runtimes is provided through the internal protocols embedded in the Micro TRACE MODE 6 for developer (DOS):

I-Net – for exchange via network (over TCP/IP);
M-Link – via serial interface;
M-Link CRC – anti-noise version of M-Link for use in the remote control systems.

License policy: The Micro TRACE MODE 6 for developer (DOS) is licensed for 1/10/100/1000 industrial controllers with different number of channels. Micro TRACE MODE 6 for developer (DOS) versions for 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048 and 4096 channels are available.
