AdAstrA has issued a new TRACEMODE SCADA runtime module - NetLink Light with group licensing. Belonging to to the family of the NetLink Light client HMI modules, the new software requires no dongle on every PC.
With group licensing enabled, any NetLink Light user can freely connect his/her workstation to TRACE MODE 6 servers from any PC in their LAN over TCP/IP (one protection dongle still has to be installed on one of the computers).
Each NetLink Light 6 console can communicate with several TRACE MODE 6 servers at a time. One TRACE MODE server allows connection of any number of Graghical consoles. The console graphics is independent from the operator interface graphics at the TRACE MODE servers and other consoles. At the consoles, you can run server-independent programs.
When using the control system with redundant servers, the console automatically switches to a redundant server, if the primary one fails. The software supports switching both to redundant and triple-redundant servers. If a server fails, TRACE MODE SCADA client automatically detects the problem and switches to a redundant data source, and if this one also fails, the client will search for another redundant node.
NetLink Light 6 with group licensing do not limit the number of project templates (a template is a screen, program, SQL request, etc.) and can be installed at any number of PCs, however the number of simultaneous projects is license limited. |
