TRACE MODE SCADA/HMI Controls Peat Product Production in Poland
|
  The Elblag city based Test company (Poland) launched a process control system for the production line of peat products at the „Rucianka” factory belonging to Hollas Sp. z o.o. company.
Established in 1991with the participation of the Belgian capital the HOLLAS company is the biggest peat products manufacturer in Poland. The HOLLAS company processes over 300 thousand. m3 of peat per year and produces about 170 products exported to Belgium, France, Spain, Italy and to the Middle East.
The main HOLLAS products are as follows:
- Vegetable and flower substrates;
- Horticultural peat;
- Nursery Substrates and products in big-bales;
- Horticultural peat.
 and so on.
Over many years the Hollas Sp. z o.o. company constantly follows the latest technology changes and modernizes the machinery and equipment. The company's computer controlled production lines are at the global level. The new process control system for the production line of peat products at the „Rucianka” factory was developed with TRACE MODE SCADA/HMI software and with Advantech ADAM IO modules. It replaced the obsolete HMI software, that did not meet factory expectations and was the cause of frequent stoppages in production.
 At the end of 2008, the management decided to change the old HMI application to TRACE MODE SCADA/HMI. The new control system has been implemented in FBD programming language, it includes a complex control algorithm, that takes into account the diversity of production and control alarms. The new TRACE MODE based application has also corrected all the errors of the previous system and increased the accuracy of production.
The two-year of successful and failure-free operation have confirmed that the management's decision to change of SCADA/HMI application for TRACE MODE was right. |

SCADA TRACE MODE 6 in Control System of European Nuclear Power Plants 
A Moscow-based SNIIP-SISTEMATOM company has set up an automated system to control the neutron current in the reactors of the 3rd and 4th power units at Bogunitse nuclear power plant (Slovakia). The new control system has been developed using Russian made SCADA/HMI software TRACE MODE 6.

SCADA TRACE MODE 6 Employed in Automated Control System for 2nd Power Unit at Krasnodar Heat and Power Plant  The Krasnodar heat and power plant launched an automated control system for the 2nd power unit that was developed using SCADA TRACE MODE system and the RK-131/300M controllers.
Within the shortest time-frame, a team of four engineers from Yuzhniy Engineering Power Center, YugOGRES, successfully deployed the control system during overhaul at the 2nd power unit.

Permavtomatika, Authorized System Integrator of AdAstrA Research Group, LTD across the Urals, deployed a new dispatch system for the sludge preparation facility at Gornozavodskcement.

China-based Shi Jian Zhuang O-SUN Automation Instrument Co. LTD has deployed a billing and control system for the heat networks at Xan-Dan city of Xai Bei province (China) using integrated TRACE MODE SOFTLOGIC and SCADA-system from AdAstrA, the Russian software developer.
The control system uses OSD-LEF3000 heat meters (China) and i8000 controllers (ICP/DAS, Taiwan).
