The runtimes are used to run the TRACE MODE projects in real time. The TRACE MODE IDE allows to make simultaneously one project for many runtimes called project nodes. One project node can be run under one runtime.
The TRACE MODE IDE provides a complete set of tools for advanced control system development e.g.:
human machine interface (SCADA/HMI);
distributed control systems;
real time industrial databases;
programs for industrial controllers (SOFTLOGIC),
as well as for manufacturing automation:
enterprise asset management and maintenance automation (EAM);
human resource management (HRM);
manufacturing execution system (MES).
Runtimes for process control and for manufacturing automation are different. The runtimes for process control (SOFTLOGIC and SCADA/HMI level) are included in the TRACE MODE® runtime family, whereas runtimes for manufacturing automation (EAM, HRM, MES level) – in the T-FACTORY.exe family.
Altogether, the TRACE MODE® and T-FACTORY™ offer solutions for real time process control and business process automation, thus providing the integrated platform for manufacturing automation.
The TRACE MODE® 6 is handy and easy to use. However, the system architecture is designed for building the large corporate -scale information systems that can be used plantwide. The generalized structure of the control system (SOFTLOGIC, SCADA/HMI), which can be developed in TRACE MODE® 6 is shown in the figure below.
Besides, The Integrated development environment can be used for manufacturing automation e.g. for building of real time manufacturing execution system (MES), human resource management (HRM) and enterprise asset management (EAM) systems.
