On January 19, 2007, we opened a new sales and support centre for SCADA TRACE MODE - AdAstrA Ukraine in Kyiv.
TRACE MODE remains the most popular SCADA system across Russia and Ukraine. The number of installations in these countries amounts to 20 000, with over 2 000 SCADA installation in Ukraine. TRACE MODE is used in the control systems of the largest industrial enterprises of Ukraine in various applications such as metallurgy, chemistry, power, atomic and mining industry, telecommunications, water and utilities.
SCADA TRACE MODE has been chosen by Rovenskaya atomic power plant, Khmelnitskaya atomic power plant, South-Western electrical power system, Sevastopolenergo, Sumyoblenergo, Ilyich Mariupol metallurgy works, Zaporozhskiy aluminum works, Alchevsk metallurgy works, Frunze Sumskoye machine-building scientific production association, sugar-refineries and food producers.
The partnership network of AdAstrA Research Group, Ltd. in Ukraine includes 7 authorized dealers and system integrators located in the largest cities of this country - Kyiv, Mariupol, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Vinnitsa and Sumy.
The new office is designed to support AdAstrA Research Group, Ltd. strategy to ensure better customer and partner service across Ukraine.
The new company will offer full-service cycle for both end users, and partners of AdAstrA, including:
- presale consultation;
- distribution of free SCADA version;
- sales of software from Kyiv storehouse;
- user training in Authorized Training Centre in Kyiv;
- development of controller drivers;
- engineering;
- full-service support of SCADA users un Russian and Ukrainian, in accordance with the standards of AdAstrA Research Group, Ltd. For communication, we use phone, e-mail, as well as online forum http://forum.adastra.ru.
To ensure achieving these goals, AdAstrA Ukraine is staffed with certified TRACE MODE engineers. The company's CEO is nominated Dmitriy Podoprigora. Mr. Podoprigora is a professionally qualified industrial automation engineer, Ph.D., with a vast management experience within government organizations of Ukraine.

Shortly, AdAstrA will open an Ukrainian site version of TRACE MODE and Training Centre.

On 24 April, 2006 AdAstrA Research Group has opened the Beijing Representative office. The office will focus on technical support for Chinese users of TRACE MODE SCADA software and will co-ordinate building of the Chinese national network of system integrators and dealers. Special attention will be given to the close OEM co-operation with Chinese instrumentation companies. 
ZAO PIK ZEBRA (Moscow, Russia) the AdAstrA's system partner has completed development and successfully implemented control system for the power unit 1 (800 MWt) at Talimardjan heat power plant (Uzbekistan). The control system is based on KRUIZ DCS and SOFTLOGIC and HMI software TRACE MODE.
Baoshan Iron & Steel Plant is the biggest metal plant in China. In January 2004, a SCADA/HMI and softlogic process control system for air and oil supply to the rolling mill was successfully launched in the steel-rolling shop of Plant No. 3. The system has been developed by engineers of 
Advantech Corporation (Taiwan) has presented the Advantech eBuilding Automation System, the control system for its own office building in Beijing based on the Russian 
Elna Company, the AdAstra's authorized system integrator, has developed a new serial project: the process control system for low-capacity gas-turbine power plants up to 12 MW.
The Silian corporation, one of the main AdAstrA's OEM-partners in China, has completed the development of DCS-system at the Yong Xin Sugar factory in the Guang Xi province (China).
