Nowadays, the oil producers more often come to think how to perfection their process automation systems. In a highly competitive environment, the manufacturing process is imposing demands for full and immediate information.
What they need is:
- interoperability of all oil extraction and treatment automation systems;
- smooth scalability delivered by in-house automation team;
- comprehensive automation covering all position levels from maintenance to Manager of Manufacturing;
- all information collected within a single database enabling any type of documents, summaries, reports, etc.;
- leveraging legacy automation, at least until the end of their service life.
Altogether, these issues require a unified integrated manufacturing control system.
The SCADA TRACE MODE 6 integrated manufacturing control platform with T-Factory (MES-EAM-HRM) has been specially designed for enterprises with several locations. It can be therefore deployed across Petroleum and Gas Extracting Administrations located in several cities.
The SCADA TRACE MODE 6 is equally suitable for process control TCP/IP-based systems and for distributed telemetry systems. SCADA TRACE MODE supports data communication over Ethernet, serial interfaces, industrial buses, dial up phone lines, radio and GSM. The Micro TRACE MODE software is used in remote terminal units (RTU), providing remote control, data acquisition, alarming and data upload to SCADA PC. It is used for remote control of oil field facilities such as group measuring installation, input manifold unit, well clusters or electric feeders.
The new technology delivers mobile employees (for instance, service team) working in the field with up-to-date information about process. Using GSM, they can communicate via PDA, laptops, web and even ordinary mobile phones.
